Rewrite: Ignis Memoria is a Mobile Game Coming by End of This Year!

The official website had a launch countdown earlier this week which was due 15th December. VisualArts has revealed that Rewrite: Ignis Memoria game will be released for smartphones, both iOS and Android. The game is a RPG social game that is based on Key’s love adventure game Rewrite. The game is slated to be released in Japan by end of this year. However there are no news on the English version yet.

For a Rewrite RPG game, the original story is not depicted in this title. The current title features more that 50 original stories set in a “What if?” context that was not shown in the original game or TV series. Thus Kana Hanazawa and Chiwa Saito, the original voice actors for Kagari and Kotori Kanbe respectively will have to voice over for the new scenes. The main protagonist, Tennouji Kotarou leads the occult study group into a new world of danger and mystery as they enter a new world.

An added feature in the game allows players to customize their rooms with wallpapers and furniture, which some may only be available during events. The game also has new original illustrations and music created just for the game. As a RPG game, the battle system requires strategy where players will need to consume “Ignis” to release a devastating attack onto the enemies.

Currently there’s a milestone event going on along with a pre-registration. When they hit the number of pre-registers, the rewards will scale and give better rewards. You can visit the official website for more information and future updates.
