It’s time to hit the desert, as details regarding the version 1.5 update for Reverse: 1999, titled ‘Revival! The Uluru Games’ has been unveiled.
Details regarding the version 1.5 update of Reverse: 1999 were unveiled, including new characters, new event stories, anecdotes, and plenty of rewards.
Event Story
Revival! The Uluru Games Event
Revival! The Uluru Games event will begin after the version update on 18th April 2024 until 27th May 2024 (UTC-5).
The event synopsis is as follows:
A squad of four:
A lady with a hat, a junior student, a scholar, and a digital pet owner
A journey at the end of a century, heading towards the revival of the ancient games.
A Revival Journey that sparks long-forgotten games, ancient lands, and a lengthy exploration.
Between her interlocking fingers, the sacred fire is rekindled.
Story mode for the event will be unlocked at the same time, while Hard mode will unlock one week later on 25th April 2024.
Red Land Trace
During the event, players can obtain extra rewards by completing the tasks of [Hotspots Exploration] in the event story, they will unlock the character logs during the Revival Journey.
Companion’s Journey
Players can repair the Fire Totem by completing [RUG. 09], after which they can obtain [Eucalyptus Pod] during the Revival Journey, which can be used to trigger and enhance the Blessing effect.
Red Soil Cave
During the event, you can exchange for rewards in the event shop by consuming [Ancient Flame]. Recommended items include the new 6-star Pyschube: Long Night Talk, Gluttony, and Unilog.
UTTU Flash Gathering, The Epic of Runners
Much like how in-game events usually go, the second half of the event will feature a UTTU Flash Gathering event, this time with new FAME Cards with the theme ‘The Epic of Runners’

Character Story
Character stories for the two new characters, Spathodea and Ezra, will also be coming with Version 1.5, these will be unlocked after [RUG.15] of the event story is cleared
Spathodea – Reunion of Fires
The flame, a bodiless collection of heat, is held in the hands of this brave child. The story began with a long journey, a call from ancient times, and a cocoa-scented dream … Back then, both she and she were just a small flame.
Ezra – As The Driven Snow Falls
Ezra is a model of pure humanity. He is sensible and innocent, a bright sparkle on a snowy mountaintop.
During his rare absence, his curious friends piece together stories about him. While Ezra, with a steely gaze, has made up his mind to reach the top of the mountain.
Anecdotes
Two more anecdotes have been added in this update, allowing players to know more about the backstories of the characters.
For this round of update, the backstory of Dikke and Erick are added.
Players can gain limited 5-Star Psychubes by playing Anecdote Stages, as well as the amplify material “Greed”.
Mane’s Bulletin
A new round of Mane’s Bulletin has been added, featuring the Hypothesis of Exhibition as the new boss in this update’s rotation.
New Wilderness Theme Pack
Last but not least for archipelago connoisseurs, a new wilderness theme ‘Leap Over Red Sands’ will also be coming with Ver 1.5 for a limited-time, featuring a more desert-style design.
Players who want the theme pack can exchange for it in the Wilderness Shop.
