Resurgence, the eSports team based in Singapore, had recently released a video on their official Facebook page of a tour around their headquarters. The organization headed by Jayf Soh (BabaelCast), a retired caster who once casted at BlizzCon 2015, has planted their headquarters at Woodlands Industrial Park in December 2017. In that building, it is filled with fun toys of what a gamer would dream to have.
Being one of the biggest eSports organization in Singapore, they started with only a single team in Heroes of the Storm back in 2016. Now they have a total of 9 competitive teams for 8 major competitive games like League of Legends, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG, Hearthstone, Arena of Valor and Mobile Legends.
Check out their video below:
Since it is an eSports organization, the headquarters consists of spaces that allow the Resurgence teams to train, eat, shower and relax during their off-training. There are 5 different areas which includes a lounge, training space, meeting room, co-working space and a recreational area. It was built in a way that provides a comfortable and casual environment for the team to work proficiently. They even have a big screen TV, a PS4, pool table, foosball table and a darts board!
With the team raking in trophies since they were established, there’s even a trophy room cum meeting room that showcases the players, teams and achievements as they have won 5 championships and 22 podium finishes since last year. They need a place to keep those trophies right?
Jayf Soh has designed the place to help those players financially since not all of them had the luxury of owning their private computers at home. With the mindset of creating a family-like environment with the team, Jayf Soh really believes that the players’ and the teams’ welfare are important as “family” is one of their core values and build strong bonds with each other.
