Capcom has announced the official release date for Resident Evil Village VR Mode for PlayStation VR2.
Resident Evil Village VR Mode will be released on February 22nd, 2023 as a free DLC for Resident Evil Village.
Of course, this means you would need to own a copy of the base game first before you can download the free DLC on your PSVR2. However, there has been no mention of a PSVR release as of yet.
The VR mode basically will have you experience the entirety of Ethan Winter’s trials to rescue his kidnapped daughter, Rose Winters, all in VR.
With the use of the Sense controllers, you’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in the game and make actions that you won’t normally be able to do in the base game; Put your arm up to block attacks to even holding two weapons independently.
Resident Evil Village is a survival horror game released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game also recently had a new DLC, Shadow of Rose, that takes place after the events of Village.
