Here we go again, Resident Evil 3 has been confirmed, and will launch on PS4, PC Steam and Xbox One 3 April 2020. It’s time to wade the shambling zombies once more in Raccoon City in this remake, following the heels of RE2. The release date was announced at the most recent State of Play. Check out the trailer!
According to Producer Peter Fabiano, RE3 will take place both before and after RE2. Jill’s story will be providing a new perspective as you help her fight through the once-lively metropolis, now turned into mindless undead. Will Jill’s harrowing experiences thus far help her through this Umbrella Corporation mess?
Besides RE3 itself, Project Resistance, the multiplayer RE experience will be included within RE3‘s remake. We’ve already tried out the multiplayer for ourselves back at Tokyo Games Show, which you can check out right here. As it were, RE3‘s existence was already leaked prior with covers surfacing before the State of Play stream, featuring Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira and the primary antagonist, Nemesis.
The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis released in 1999, with Jill Valentine, a S.T.A.R.S. member from the first RE, trying to escape Raccoon City and being relentlessly pursued by Nemesis.
The Resident Evil 3: Collector’s Edition for the United States have already been revealed! You can check out its contents in the image below, containing:
