Reiji Miyajima, the author of Rent-A-Girlfriend, will be getting a television anime adaptation for his latest manga series, The Shiunji Family Children.
On Wednesday, 14th February 2024, Kadokawa confirmed that The Shiunji Family Children has received the green light for an anime adaptation.

The author also drew a special illustration of the five main female characters of the series to celebrate the news.
As of writing, no news regarding the release date of the anime has been revealed, nor has any information on which company will be handling the adaptation.
The Shiunji Family Children launched in Hakusensha’s semi-monthly magazine Young Animal since February 2022.
Two volumes of the manga have been published up until now, with the third volume scheduled to be published on 16th February 2024.
An English release for the manga was also licensed by Yen Press.
The Shiunji Family Children is a seinen manga series that was written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima.
The story follows Arata Shiunji, the eldest son of the Shiunji Family, who lives with his five sisters and a younger brother.
Arata has always been tossed around by the whims of his sisters. And yet, that does not stop him from viewing them as his precious family members. However, everything is changed when their father reveals that the siblings are not related by blood, and Arata now needs to deal with this newfound situation.
