The second DLC for the intense third-person shooter Remnant 2 has been revealed, titled “The Forgotten Kingdom”, alongside a new trailer and its release date.
As announced, “The Forgotten Kingdom” DLC for Remnant 2 will be launching on 23 April 2024 on all platforms for $9.99 or as part of a bundle with other downloadable content for $24.99.
This DLC will place a focus on players piecing together the lost history of the lost tribe of Yaesha as they try to quell the vengeful wrath of Lydusa, an ancient stone spirit.
“Navigate the lingering traces of torment, treachery, and death that haunt the land’s once proud ziggurats, as Lydusa’s living stones wander the crumbling remnants of an ancient civilization in search of fresh blood.”
Comes in a brand-new story, players will delve deeper into the biome of Yaesha in new dungeons, acquiring new powerful gear as typical of Remnant, featuring a host of new weapons, modifications, amulets, rings, and more to procure.
These new dungeons are also crowded with new fearsome foes to encounter, survivors to meet, and challenging bosses to face.
Aside from the expected additions, this DLC will also introduce a new Archetype called the “Invoker”, a class that draws strength from the Nature Spirits of Yaesha and harnesses the mystic power of the jungle.
Flavor text aside, details have yet to be revealed for the Archetype and Gunfire Games announced that they will reveal more of the Invoker in a special trailer next week.
As mentioned, “The Forgotten Kingdom” is the second DLC for Remnant 2 after “The Awakened King”, and it is scheduled to launch on 23 April 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
