The SH MonsterArts Red Eyes Black Dragon from YuGiOh is now available for pre order, letting you own an articulated figure of the iconic monster.
As a counterpart to the SH MonsterArts Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the Red Eyes Black Dragon figure will be available from June 2024 and will retail for 13000 Yen (RM420.66).
The Tamashii Nations website says the figure is available for pre order in some territories, though it should be noted that as of this writing the listing is not available on the Malaysia Shopee P-Bandai page.
The dragon features multiple points of articulation, and even includes a stand to recreate a variety of flying poses.
It even includes optional effect parts for the monster’s Black Flame Bullet effect parts to mimic its signature attack.
Red Eyes Black Dragon is the diametrically opposed dragon to the iconic Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and one of the signature monsters of Joey Wheeler in the original YuGiOh anime.
While not as ubiquitous as Seto Kaiba’s ace monster the card game expanded on it greatly- the “Red Eyes” archetype spans a catalogue of powerful monsters including the exceedingly powerful Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon.
It’s also no stranger to receiving multiple figures, having also gotten a statue from First 4 Figures.
