We are able to take a journey back to the wild, wild west with the PC port release of Rockstar’s critically-acclaimed classic action-adventure title, Red Dead Redemption finally being a thing. Newer fans of the Red Dead Redemption series that started off with RDR2, will finally get to experience John Marston’s adventures for the first time, with now the game officially coming to PC on the 29th Oct 2024.
For your information, fans will be thrilled to learn that owners of the PC port will not only have access to the base game but they too will have access to the game’s standalone expansion pack, Undead Nightmare once the game is purchased.
According to Rockstar, they are partnering with fellow game developer, Double Eleven to add PC-specific enhancements which includes native 4K resolution at up to 144hz, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. On top of that, there’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and many more for players to discover for themselves once they get their hands on the game.
We are looking forward to the eventual release of the game later in the month. For now, stay tuned to GamerBraves for more possible updates on upcoming port releases.
