Red Dead Redemption and its zombie-themed horror standalone expansion, Undead Nightmare are now available digitally on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Both the Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare expansion DLC are packaged together in a single bundle priced at $49.99 (RM232.15) and can be purchased digitally from the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation Store for the PS4 respectively.
For PlayStation 5 owners, Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare can also be played through the backward compatibility function if you owned a PlayStation 4 copy of the game.
On the flip side, Rockstar Games noted that physical bundle copies of the games are set to be released much later, on the 13th of October, 2023.
Features and Content
The re-release of Red Dead Redemption will feature a 1080p resolution on the Nintendo Switch and up to 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro, both running at a framerate of 30 FPS.
The game will also run in full 4K resolution on the PlayStation 5 via the backward compatibility function.
Additionally, the game will include all bonus DLC content from the Game of the Year Edition released back in 2010, such as an Explosive Rifle, the Tomahawk, and Golden Guns, as well as the Expert Hunter and Savvy Merchant outfit for John Marston, and many more.
Furthermore, the remaster of the game will also feature Hardcore mode, Trophy support on the PlayStation 4, and in-game achievements on the Nintendo Switch.
Multiple new language options will also be added to the game alongside previously supported languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian, Portuguese, Russian, and Latin American Spanish.
Both Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare expansion are now available for purchase digitally in a bundle for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
