Razer is starting off a “Game-On” campaign in its efforts to support Wuhan in its time of need. Opening up with the hashtag #STAYSTRONGWUHAN, their website states the following:
“Our friends and gamers in Wuhan have been stuck in lockdown since the outbreak and we’re doing our part to raise awareness for the Coronavirus situation. Support our charity drive to help fund efforts in Wuhan—proceeds from the sale of our limited-run ‘Game On’ poster will go to a select foundation combating the virus. Wuhan Jiayou.”
The Razer Game-On posters are listed as so:
- A2 (420mm x 594mm)
- 200gsm Poster Print with matte lamination
The posters will ship 21 February 2020 onwards, available at USD$19.99 or your regional equivalent. The website also provides some hygiene tips:
“Maintaining great personal hygiene is timeless advice – especially for gamers going to conventions and esports tournaments. As we thank the frontline personnel managing the outbreak, let’s play our part to minimize the risk of infection with these simple reminders.”
- Wash hands properly with soap
- Wear a mask if you have a cough or runny nose
- See a doctor if you feel unwell
Events have been delayed due to health concerns from the Covid-19 novel coronavirus outbreak, a couple of them being Taipei Game Show 2020 and the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020. The former has already released new dates that you can look forward to. While you game on at home, be sure to practice good hygiene and keep yourself healthy!
