With the recent release of the Malaysia 2019 budget listed out by our Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, one of the budgets mentioned in there was the plan to grow eSports with a budget of RM 10 million. The CEO of Razer, Min-Liang Tan caught news of it and immediately took it to Twitter mentioning that Razer will also be contributing RM 10 million for Malaysia’s eSports growth!

These two high-profile persons are going to make Malaysian eSports bigger than ever. Even Singapore’s telecommunications company Singtel took part in the eSports arena being the pioneer of the PVP Esports Championship that happened in October 2018 which is one of the region’s largest multi-title eSports festival! With these two parties working closely together we’re sure to see many more events happening in Malaysia.
