Razer announces a partnership with 343 Industries for its highly anticipated premium franchise, Halo Infinite. The licensing rights will allow Razer to develop multiple licensed products including gaming peripherals for both Xbox and PC.
“Razer is the perfect partner to help us deliver the premium gear we know our Halo players are looking for. The Halo Consumer Products team is focused on bringing the Halo universe to life and into the hands of our community.”
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Razer to create this line of high-quality peripherals that embody the Halo brand while also delivering on the performance our fans expect across multiple platforms.”
Kiki Wolfkill, Head of Halo Transmedia at 343 Industries
The partnership will continue Razer’s string of innovative products for Xbox, previously having developed the industry-first Nari Ultimate for Xbox One, the first Xbox Wireless-compatible headset with HyperSense haptic feedback; and the Razer Turret for Xbox One, the console’s first wireless keyboard and mouse. These products, along with Razer’s award-winning Wolverine controller lineup, will all be forward compatible with Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X videogame console. In addition, Razer is developing a line of all new Xbox products to be released later this year besides the Halo Infinite products. We’ll see if they’re limited to the United States.
“Halo Infinite is among the most anticipated games this year, with a rich community that’s been yearning for custom gear.”
“Halo has a rich and powerful franchise history, and Razer is honored to be working with 343 Industries and Xbox to support its launch and the fan community.”
Bob Ohlweiler, VP and General Manager of Razer USA
