The release date for Rashid in Street Fighter 6 has been announced, bringing the Turbulent Wind himself as the first new playable DLC for the game.
According to a new trailer, Rashid will release in Street Fighter 6 on the 24th on July, where he will be available both for purchase and trial via the rental vouchers.
In addition to the playable character, Rashid will also be coming to World Tour mode, where you can also hang out with him as well as learn his fighting style for your avatar.
PlayStation has also provided more details on how Rashid will play, with several updated features from his appearance in Street Fighter V.
One of these key features is the addition of a double jump, replacing Rashid’s air dash in the previous title.
It goes well with various other parkour-related maneuvers, letting you do side switches and flips to keep your opponent guessing.
He’s also had his V-Skill 1 from Street Fighter V reworked into his Level 2 super, while keeping Altair as his Level 3 and having Super Rashid Kick for Level 1.
Like other characters, Rashid will also include a second costume, themed after his debut in Street Fighter V and presumably unlockable via his World Tour campaign.
The release date announcement follows a previous Battle Pass announcement, meant to celebrate the character with various Rashid-themed accessories.
