GSC Cinemas is set to screen “Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Sister Venturing Out” in Malaysia on September 7th.
This is third entry in the Rascal Does Not Dream anime series and a sequel to Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Dreaming Girl.
Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Sister Venturing Out will this time put Sakuta’s little sister, Kaede Azusagawa in the spotlight.
The official for Rascal Does Not Dream Of Venturing Out provided by GSC reads:
After receiving death threats and other online bullying, Kaede Azusagawa had a dissociative break resulting in complete amnesia. For the next two years, she lived as a completely new person, a shut-in hiding from the world. Luckily, thanks to her brother and some new friends, she was able to recover—though said recovery came at a price: those two years worth of memories.
Now Kaede must not only try to move forward with a hole in her memory, but also deal with the fear that those closest to her now, may not see her as who she really is, but rather as the girl she was for the past two years.
Rascal Does Not Dream is originally a critically acclaimed Japanese light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida.
The series was picked up by CloverWorks to be turned into an anime adaptation which was well-received by fans of the novel and newcomers.
Fans of the Rascal Does Not Dream series in Malaysia will surely be happy GSC will be screening the movie.
