The Rascal Does Not Dream anime series will continue with the adaptation of the “University Arc” as officially announced.
Aniplex held a special New Year livestream for the Rascal Does Not Dream series yesterday and officially announced the adaptation of the “University Arc” for the anime series is in the works.
The adaptation was initially teased last month after the showing of the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Girl movie.
As the name implies, this new arc will mark the conclusion of the High School arc and will follow the stories of the characters in university.
For those who are not aware, the Rascal Does Not Dream was originally a light novel series, written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, and was first published by Dengeki Bunko in 2014.
The “University Arc” begins in the 10th volume of the light novels, starting with Rascal Does Not Dream of a Lost Singer, and the official English synopsis is as follows:
Apart from the announcement of the new anime adaptation, Aniplex has not revealed further information for the Rascal Does Not Dream Announces “University Arc” yet.
