Square Enix previously announced RANBU Sangokushi Ranbu in March, which has now opened registrations for its upcoming Closed Beta Test (CBT). The game was previously slated for a 2019 release, but as you might expect, that schedule has slipped.
The RANBU Sangokushi Ranbu CBT is set for 14 to 21 January 2020, and registrations already opened on 20 December 2019. Interested players can try to apply through the website here. iOS applications are open until 8 January 2020, 23:59 JST. Android users will need to download the game via a link that will be available on 10 January, roughly 18:00 JST through official sources. Android users will be able to get in via first come first served basis, while iOS users will be drawn randomly should it exceed the capacity. It will be 4,000 players total, with 2,000 per OS.
The game features historical figures reincarnated as beautiful women, blending 2D and 3D art on the battlefield. Controlling the troops will only require simple touches. There will be large scale battles many players will be able to participate in.
Actual details are somewhat scarce on how the game would work, so look forward to the RANBU Sangokushi Ranbu CBT should you be able to get in.
