Rakugaki Kingdom makes a return to smartphones

Taito has just announced that its popular PlayStation 2 title Rakugaki Kingdom will be making a return to the mobile platforms, with a scheduled release date sometime in Winter 2019.

The concept of Rakugaki Kingdom revolves around the players having the ability to design their very own Rakugaki Characters in 2D, before converting it to 3D models. Said Rakugaki Characters can then be used for battle.

Your creations can also be shared with others via the Rakugaki Garage, so even if you do not feel inclined on designing your own character, you can always get one from others. And depending on the choices you make within the game, Rakugaki Characters will grow in various ways, which the developer claims there to be up to 100 possibilities

Rakugaki Kingdom takes place in Canvas, a world separated from reality and is depicted by drawings. As a Clocker, you have the ability to create and control Rakugai, mysterious life-forms born from imagination and an artistic value.
