Ubisoft announced the arrival of the third season of Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 7, Operation Brutal Swarm. This season enters Grim, a Singaporean Operator, a new map and Phase 2 of the Reputation System which brings chat sanctions, match replay reporting and much more gameplay improvements.
The newest attacker, Grim, comes with a high speed and low health and is equipped with a 552 Commando or SG-CQB for the primary and a P229 for the secondary.
The Kawan Hive Launcher is his gadget that shoots a projectile deploying a canister on the floor and releases a swarm of nano bots into the air. Until the nano bots runs out of battery, any defenders in contact with it will have their positions revealed.

Arriving together with Grim, this Operation Brutal Swarm update also has the addition of EMP grenades to select Operators’ loadouts.
The second phase of the Reputation System that sends down new penalties for abusive text chat is also available in this update. Others include, the option to report on cheaters in the Match Replay viewer and a new Map Ban Phase that includes five maps with updates to the tactical map.
Everyone’s favourite Battle Pass perk, the 10% discount off all items in the shop returns in this new season and will be available for future Battle Pass. Others without the battle pass can receive one from players that purchase premium Battle Passes for them with the new Buy a Friend Battle Pass Program.
Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter game by Ubisoft and is now available to play on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, the Xbox One family of consoles, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, including on Ubisoft+. Rainbow Six Siege is also free-to-play on PlayStation and PC until September 8.
