Ubisoft announced a new limited-time event for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1, called The Grand Larceny. An all-new game mode is brought to an elderly British version of the old Hereford Map: The Stolen Goods. Defend your fortune at all costs!
From 5 May to 19 May, fight your way through two weeks of 5 on 5 matches, inspired by the British mob of the 1920s, with gunshots ringing through the hallways of the Headquarters. Most Operators will be unlocked and available to play in the event, with few exceptions due to gameplay specificities. The following Operators will not be available:
- Glaz
- Nomad
- Buck
- Montagne
- Blitz
- Caveira
- Kali
- Clash
- Blackbeard
- Lion
- IQ
- Tachanka
- Recruit
- Twitch
- Mozzie
Each Operator will only be equipped with a main shotgun, customized with the event’s weapon skins as found in The Grand Larceny Collection and the Roaring Riches Bundle.
The Stolen Goods game mode has no Hostage, no Area to Secure, no Bombs to Defuse. No Preparation Phase, no Attacker’s drone. What it does have are Safeboxes spread throughout the map, which Defenders must protect at all costs or eliminate all their opponents. Attackers must either open a certain number of Safeboxes, or eliminate all Defenders. Players will know where these Safeboxes are as they utilize flooring adjustments that remove select metal beams for more creative shotgun use. Be prepared for destruction like never before in The Grand Larceny of Rainbow Six Siege!
The Grand Larceny collection will introduce 31 items, including exclusive customization for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai, and Warden. Find these styles in-game by picking these Operators during the Event. Obtain packs through special Event Challenges or with 300 R6 Credits or 12500 Renown. The Roaring Riches Bundle, which contains the Deco Artistry signature weapon skin and the Crafted Six charm, will also be available to acquire during this time.
