Fans of tactical shooters can rejoice as Rainbow Six: Siege will be available on next-gen consoles. The game will support cross-platform and be available as a free upgrade for current players.
Ubisoft announced that the shooter would be making its way to PS5 and Xbox Series X, and would support 4k and up to 120fps gameplay. This upgrade would come at no cost to those who already own the game, as long as they upgraded within the same console brand.
Additionally, Rainbow Six: Siege would be joining the list of games to support cross-platforms, meaning next-gen players would be able to play on those still sticking to the current generation. Players who make the upgrade would also get to carry over their progress.
The previously-announced Operation: Shadow Legacy is now available for players, which includes the addition of Sam Fisher, codenamed Zero. Year 5 Pass holders can access the Splinter Cell character immediately, but those without it can unlock him starting September 17th.
