Currently, the game has launched in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, where it was reportedly the top earning game for Q4 2020. Gravity, the owners of the Ragnarok IP, had disclosed in December that they were planning to debut the SEA release in “The first half of 2021”.
According to Twitter use HFValue, the game would be published in SEA by Bytedance, who also published TikTok.

To add to the excitement an official Thai Facebook page for the game has launched, announcing Ragnarok X: Next Generation SEA. Gravity Games Tech are the IP holders for Ragnarok, which had its heyday in the early 2000s with the widely popular Ragnarok Online, even getting its own anime.
Since then, they’ve been delving into the mobile market by expanding the IP with Ragnarok M: Eternal Love and most recently Ragnarok X: Next Generation.
Next Generation is a 3D RPG , with many of the same elements that made Ragnarok so popular such as a robust job system and cooperative fun with friends. Its main draw is the fully 3D world, allowing it to look like more contemporary mobile MMOs.
