Ragnarok Origin, having been made available in South Korea back in July 2020, will be heading to Japan sometime 2021. It now has a pre-registration site, as well as its official website, Twitter, and Youtube that you can check out. The specs through appmedia recommends the following specifications:
- iOS: iOS 13.0 or later
- Android: 6.0 or later
- 4GB RAM or more
It also warns that even should the minimum specifications are met, certain models may still be unable to run the game. As you might expect, the game is based off the Ragnarok Online IP, with a new interpretation. You’ll both be able to play with other people, or solo. You can check out some of our original gameplay back from G-STAR 2019.
The newest line of mobile titles for the Ragnarok Online will have features like a new broader expanded map and a life system that includes mining, gardening, fishing, and many more. Pre-registrations for the Japan release of Ragnarok Origin include a Poring Hat and Novice Ring along with minor supplies. There are also some milestone rewards for following its Twitter and Youtube accounts.
Now that the game will become available in Japan, what would that mean for an eventual global release? There’s no date given regarding the Japan release, so it might be a while yet.
