WB Games has revealed the release date for Quan Chi as well as the next Kameo Fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 as part of the game’s Kombat Pack DLC.
Quan Chi will release in Mortal Kombat 1 on December 14th for owners of the Kombat Pack DLC, with the characters being available for purchase separately on December 21st.
Meanwhile, the Khameleon Kameo Fighter will release some time in January 2024, with no date specified.
Similar to other characters in Mortal Kombat 1, Quan Chi sports a reimagined moveset, focusing even more on summoning creaturs from the NetherRealm.
These include monstrous tentacles as well as various skull projectiles, allowing him to have a strong mixup game as well as setplay.
He even has a multi-hitting skull projectile which allows him to counter-zone other characters and big moves that allow him to control space.
As a Kameo, Khameleon also provides a variety of assist tools, with her mimicking the various ladies of the Mortal Kombat setting like Kitana and Jade.
Aside from the first look at Quan Chi, WB Games also teased the next DLC coming to Mortal Kombat 1- the DC character Peacemaker.
This character will see John Cena reprise his iconic role, with WB games announcing he’ll be coming in February 2024.
Peacemaker will be the second guest character in Mortal Kombat 1, following the previously released Omni-Man and before the eventual release of Homelander.
