Pyra and Mythra figures are getting reprints, pre-orders available

The newest additions to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s Pyra and Mythra are getting their figures reprinted. Check out how they look:

Based on art by Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s character designer, Saitou Masatsugu, the Blades are sculpted in 1/7 scale. The Pyra and Mythra figures are approximately 210 mm tall. Pyra is sculpted by Akimofu while Mythra is sculpted by Wotaku Mito (knead).

Good Smile Company first released the figures for both characters back in 2018 in Japan. They were re-released once more in December of last year, but were quickly sold out. This time around, Good Smile is opening pre-orders for the figures as a limited release until 22nd April 2021, 12.00 pm JST. Furthermore, the figures will only be shipped in September 2022 for Japan and October 2022 in North America.

Considering that sales for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 have been rising ever since Pyra and Mythra joined Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it is very likely that the figures will go out of stock very quickly. The figures were also seen during Masahiro Sakurai’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate live stream presentation on the two characters.

Interested North American buyers can pre-order the figures for $192.99 USD via Good Smile’s online store. Those based in Japan can make their pre-orders via Ami Ami for 20,166 yen.
