PureArts has announced that they’d be producing a 1/26 scale statue of the Pukei-Pukei from Monster Hunter World, come to grace your collection.
The Pukei-Pukei statue is available for pre order now on the PureArts website, where it’s available from 599 USD (RM2668), and is expected to ship in Q3 2023.
For its asking price though, it looks like you’re getting quite the quality statue, since aside from its detailed sculpt it also includes iridescent feathers, as well as varying material finishes on the statue to make parts like the tongue and eyes seem more glossy while the scales are more dull.
Here’s the description of the figure, courtesy of PureArts:
The venomous Pukei-Pukei from Capcom’s Monster Hunter has come to life in a stunning 1/26 scale statue by PureArts! The Monster Hunter Pukei-Pukei Statue features dazzling iridescent colors, intricate details and incredibly life-like textures and eyes, posed on a rocky woodland base inspired by its natural environment.
On top of that, it also features an elaborate base, made to look like a rock formation in the jungle map where you first encounter it in Monster Hunter World.
This is the first major Monster Hunter statue release not done in-house by Capcom, instead licensed out to PureArts.
Most prior Monster Hunter statues instead tend to be released under the Capcom Figure Builder’s line, such as the massive Fatalis from monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
The company had also recently opened pre-orders for a similarly elaborate Lady Dimitrescu figure earlier this month.
