PUMA x SEGA Sneakers Coming To Malaysia!

Good news to SEGA or PUMA fans out there! The much awaited news has just dropped in on us from the collaborations of PUMA and SEGA that was first announced back in March! They have revealed a new set of sneakers of the PUMA x SEGA RS-0 Sonic and Dr. Eggman sneakers that’s coming on June 5th worldwide!

The RS-0 Sonic sneaker’s main color is blue which represents Sonic the Hedgehog. No, that’s not the skin of Sonic because if it is, then for every pair of the RS-0 sneakers will cost 1 Sonic’s life! Jokes aside, no Sonic was harmed in the process of making this sweet pair of sneakers. If you noticed the hint of yellow and green color on the sneakers as well, that actually represents the iconic Green Hill Zone from the game!

Just like Sonic, the sneaker is made from a textured suede that is reminiscent of Sonic’s blue coat with a striking red outsole that stands for his shoes. If you look closer on it, there’s also gold rings lined up to the side from the back!

Then we have the RS-0 Dr. Eggman, Sonic’s archnemesis, which is red in color with yellow caution stripes that represents the Eggmobile from the game. The metallic outsole and caution stripes are a representation of his scientific evil machinery. Instead of having gold rings lined on the side from the back like Sonic’s, Dr. Eggman’s has his fireballs lined up there! While the gold rings are inserted in the lace.

As 2018 marks the year of PUMA’s reboot of their 80’s Running System range with the all-new RS-0 model, they have partnered with influential and creative brands like SEGA through innovative designs. Hopefully we’ll see more exciting designs that complements games in the world of fashion, lifestyle and art in the future!

The PUMA x SEGA RS-0 Sonic and Dr. Eggman sneakers will be available at PUMA Sunway Pyramid, Crossover and Sole What and will be retailing for RM 610.
