PUBG Studio has just announced that PUBG: New State will be having its second alpha test for the Android and iOS platforms between 27 August 2021 and 29 August 2021.
This alpha test will be available to users in 16 regions, which will include Malaysia. Those looking to try it out can do so by heading over to the official website. As a spin-off title for PUBG Mobile, New State employs the use of the Global Illumination technology to provide improved graphics on the mobile, and the developer has promised it will be running much better than its predecessor. This iteration will be introducing several new mechanics, such as the ability to customise weapons using kits. For example, players will be able to select between firing modes and use attachments such as grenade launchers.
Here’s the store description for the game:
NEW STATE, the newest title by PUBG Studio, the creators of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS.
Using diverse weapons and tactics, 100 survivors will face off until only one player or team remains standing.
With an ever-shrinking Blue Zone, players must find weapons, vehicles, and consumables to gain the upper hand.
Only the strongest will emerge as the “”Lone Survivor”” in this epic showdown.
Little else is known at this juncture, so we are going to have to wait for more details. Pre-registrations are also still open, so be sure to sign up.
