The follow up to one of the largest mobile games, PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State has just opened up for pre-registration.
In a new cinematic trailer, they show off some of the intense combat fans can expect in the follow-up made by the same people who made the original PUBG Mobile.
Currently, pre-registrations are only open for Android users, though the official New State Twitter account has said iOS pre-registrations would be coming shortly.
Details about the new title are few and far between, but if the trailer is anything to go off it looks like all the PUBG staples like gunplay and vehicles will be carrying forward into New State.
While the trailer showcases several first-person shots, we don’t know if that’s a case of artistic liberty or if the game would be incorporating a first-person view into the gameplay, since there’s a marked difference in advantage depending on perspective.
According to the game’s app store page, the arenas will be 8km x 8km large, and the game will have improved graphics over its predecessor.
Here’s the store description for the game:
NEW STATE, the newest title by PUBG Studio, the creators of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS.
Using diverse weapons and tactics, 100 survivors will face off until only one player or team remains standing.
With an ever-shrinking Blue Zone, players must find weapons, vehicles, and consumables to gain the upper hand.
Only the strongest will emerge as the “”Lone Survivor”” in this epic showdown.
