PUBG Mobile is launched last week and has rapidly become a worldwide popular by grabbing the No.1 spot in over 100 countries. Many of us have been jumping into the fight ever since the first day of its release but do you know how to increase your chance to get the victory (aka chicken dinner)? To help you out, here we have prepared a PUBG Mobile Guide that will be really useful on your road to tons of chicken dinner!
- Avoid hotspots (unless you are confident enough to kill the rest before being wiped out)
Every match in PUBG Mobile starts with 100 players parachuting to the 8 x 8 km map, where you can choose to jump off the plane anytime and go to anywhere reachable.
Big towns under the flight path or hotspots such as Prison and School are challenging places to start with, but if you are lucky, you will be able to get good weapons the first few seconds you drop to the ground and starts to attack the slowpokes. If you are new to the game or a person who has a slightly slower response time, it is better to avoid those places. Instead, you can aim for smaller towns or roadside houses that stick together.
- Pick up weapons and body armors as fast as possible
The first you need to do when you hit the land is to go indoors and loot. Be sure to grab weapons and ammo first, then followed by the bulletproof vest, helmet and healing items.
When you have got enough weapons and body armor, you can start to make choices on which weapons to bring (if you don’t know what to bring, take assault rifles because it works well in most situations). You can also exchange low-level body armor to higher level ones to survive longer. PUBG Mobile features auto pick-up that helps you pick up better equipment automatically too.
- Pay attention to the doors
All the doors are closed originally, opened doors usually indicates someone has been there (or still there) so you have to be extra careful if you want to enter the building. My little suggestion – try to avoid enter buildings with opened doors unless you have a decent shotgun or melee weapon. Remember to close the door once you are inside too so you can hide your tracks better.
- Accuracy is the key to win
Since the game is on mobile and the control is far less precise, accuracy comes important. The enemies aren’t firing at you with perfect accuracy when it is on mobile, so even you get shot first, don’t be panic but try to aim and fire back. The side with better accuracy usually wins the fight! Well if you are already in low health and don’t know where are the enemies at, try to break their line of sight by sprinting or running zig-zag to cover.
- Don’t stand still while looting crates
Standing still while looting crates (which means you will probably not paying attention to your surrounding) is like inviting other players to get a free kill from you. Remember, gunfire attracts attention. Therefore although everyone can’t get much accuracy on mobile, you should avoid doing this.
- Look out for vehicles
Vehicles are much needed to cover long distances especially if you are far away from the safe zone (you can still sprint your way to safe zone but it takes time and your safety is at a big risk). Also, you can easily knock down your enemies using vehicles since it is difficult to aim a fast moving vehicle on mobile. Vehicles can usually be found on the roadside so keep an eye out for it!
- Prioritise standing enemies instead of those who are knocked down
When you (and your teammates) are firing against multiple enemies, make sure you focus on firing those who can still attack you instead of those who have been knocked down. They won’t be able to get up unless being revived anyway.
- Change damaged (red colored) armor away
Damaged high-level armor have an even lower protection than an undamaged low-level armor, so remember to switch your damaged armor out whenever you found a new one (even if it has a lower level). If you are unsure about whether you should switch it out, compare the number next to your armor and choose the one with the higher value shown.
- Don’t leave your gun unloaded
Running around with an unloaded gun is dangerous since you will need time to reload and the few seconds will leave you barehanded. Make sure you reload your gun frequently, especially when you are heading to a town or housing area (which you will have a higher chance to meet an enemy).
- Don’t go into a fight without full health
Lower health means lesser shots to take you down, so heal yourself up before you go into a fight. Bandages and First Aid Kits can get you back to 75% of health, while the rare Medkit could heal you back to full health. Boost items such as Energy Drinks and Painkillers heal you over time too, so use them wisely!
