PUBG Corp. has been hammered over their decisions in “making the game better” over the past couple of months. The best thing that has been updated in the game so far is probably the Training Mode where we get to roam around a 2×2 km map filled with our favorite toys and vehicles to train ourselves for the next Hunger Games. But with the upcoming update 21, aside from the bug fixes and improvements, they have added in a new reward system.
They call it, the Supply System. The Supply System is the new reward system that will reward you with items every time you increase your Survivor Level. How do you increase your Survivor Level? Well there are missions which will be refreshed daily and some weekly which will provide you with EXP. The missions will have you do some silly things like:
As you increase your Survivor Level, you will be greeted with a reward! Though don’t be too happy about it as it’s a time limited item – a 7 day limited time item. The rarity of the item is random where you can gain from the most common of items to the rarest Olive Branch Pan. But don’t be quick to dismiss this yet! You actually will get a permanent item every 10 levels! So, in spite of receiving useless items that would leave you a week later (like my money), at least you do get some permanent items every 10 Survivor Levels you reached!
However, the question that’s begging for an answer is; “Is it easy of a grind to reach 10 levels?” If it’s easy to grind up 10 levels, great! But if it’s a chore, you might just get frustrated to begin with just like earning BPs to buy your crates. On another mind boggling question, what are the chances of you getting an item you’ve never had before anyway?
Can you imagine grinding up to Survivor Level 50 only to get 5 permanent Polkadot T-Shirt? I can. Sure, it’s FREE. But what are you going to do with your 5 Polkadot T-Shirt? Though currently the Supply System is already up on the PUBG Test Server, it could change for the better when it’s official on the main game.
