PS5 DualSense Unboxing: Cosmic Red, Midnight Black

For those of you lucky enough to have your own PS5, two new DualSense controller colours have arrived in Midnight Black and Cosmic Red in Malaysia. We got our hands on the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red DualSense controllers ourselves, so here’s how they look like! If you’ve wanted a different colour DualSense, well, now’s of course your chance to style up your options some more. Sony is more than likely going to roll out more colours over time, as they’ve done with the PS4, so even if you don’t fancy either of these options, give it time.

Strictly speaking, the new DualSense are hardly functionally different from the default white one as you might expect.

And here are the close-ups:

The red might not be as vibrant as the promotional images imply, but it’s still a pretty elegant colour, pairing nicely with the black detailings. Unlike its siblings, the Midnight Black variant is entirely black with no secondary highlights.
