With the new Kingdom Hearts III DLC/Expansion around the corner, ReMIND, now’s the perfect time to draw some hype around it. That’s why, last night, Square Enix released an announcement for Project Xehanort, their upcoming Kingdom Hearts mobile game!
Alongside the announcement there is also a Guess The Name Campaign. Here’s the announcement on their freshly made Twitter account (@projectxehanort).
The Guess the Name Campaign is here! Tell us what YOU think the title of the new KH experience will be and win big!
10 winners will be selected! Campaign ends 1/28 at 6:59 p.m. PT! For official rules and conditions, view the rules here: sqex.to/projectXehanort Good luck!

As for the actual details for the mobile game…there’s not much to go off for Project Xehanort. All we really have is this screenshot above as well as the words “Why did he become the seeker of darkness?” on the Guess the Name Campaign. There is also a hint in one of the videos on the Twitter account saying that the title will be “8 Letters, 2 Words.”. The game will be on iOS, Android and Amazon by this Spring. There is no given release date, but the moment we find out, we’ll be sure to let you know.
That isn’t really substantial at all, which is typical of Square Enix’s tight lipped announcements. But let’s not fret, because that just means that Square Enix can keep the hype alive by feeding us smaller but equally juicy announcements in the future.
