Aptly-named game developer FLEET will be launching Project NOAH, its turn-based naval battle game, for the mobile platforms on 9 September 2019.
As part of the announcement, details regarding the setting and characters were also revealed. Following some environmental changes, the planet NOAH was engulfed by the ocean. In order to save humanity, an AI system was developed to construct massive arks dubbed the Second Cradle.
Each ark is commandeered by Admirals, all of whom have their own set of beliefs and principles. Despite impending disaster, humanity are unable to get along due to these differences, and as such the migration project was broken into three factions. The first faction believes that all humans should migrate while the second believe that only the chosen few should be granted that priviledge. The third faction meanwhile believes humanity should accept their fate and perish with the seas.
Gameplay elements were not detailed, although some visuals of the game interfaced were revealed. It appears that the game will be strategy-focused with some battleship construction on the side. For more details, head over to the game’s website.
