Dynamis One, the game development studio founded by former core members of the Blue Archive team, has announced that their highly anticipated game, Project KV is cancelled. The decision comes after a period of internal struggles and external controversies surrounding the project.
Project KV, initially described as a “nostalgic school action drama featuring sword-wielding girls” set in the fictional Dormitory City of Kapila, had generated significant interest among gamers.
Dynamis One cited immaturity and concerns about causing further “pain and inconvenience” to their audience as part of the reason for the project’s cancellation The company acknowledged that “many things were immature” and that they had faced numerous worries and concerns during the development process.

Reports suggest a lack of morale among staff members and insufficient business experience within the team. Additionally, the game faced controversy due to the similarities between Project KV and Blue Archive, which is the developers’ previous work at Nexon Games.
As a result of this decision, Dynamis One has removed all promotional materials related to Project KV, including PV images and other assets. Meanwhile the future of the studio remains uncertain and now faces the challenge of regrouping and potentially starting new projects from scratch.
