Project HP, a working triple A PC title from Nexon, the publisher of MMORPGs such as Maplestory and Elsword, has revealed a teaser.
Based on this teaser, the game appears to be set in a medieval setting. Combined with fantasy elements, players can engage in combat with magic or melee weapons as their fighting style of choice. You can watch the teaser here:
In addition, the game is currently looking for applicants for its alpha test. The recruitment opened today, July 6 and will remain open until August 6. Selected alpha testers will be announced on July 28 and August 6. The test itself will run for only 4 days, between August 6 to 8. Note that the test is only available locally in Korea.
For this alpha test, Nexon is looking to test some of the PvP modes for Project HP. In particular, two game modes will be tested, a 16v16 map and a 12v12 map. For more information about the game’s alpha test, visit its website.
This new IP will be directed by Nexon’s Eunseok Yi. He is notable for games such as Vindictus (Mabinogi Heroes in Korea) and Durango: Wild Lands.
While the game looks pretty impressive based on its 4k 60 FPS teaser, only time will tell if it will have an English release.
