Dive into a deep, undersea 2D puzzle adventure with Professor Lupo: Ocean on your Nintendo Switch and mobile devices today!
Professor Lupo: Ocean is the latest title from indie studio BeautiFun Games, of Nihilumbra acclaim. Professor Lupo: Ocean saw an earlier release on Steam on October 5th 2020 before its Switch and mobile debut today.
As a sequel to Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets, the game takes place where the original left off. Professor Lupo: Ocean begins after a 5000-year time skip. The player wakes up in a dilapidated, semi-waterlogged spaceship, only for the ship’s AI to boss you around. As you venture around repairing and restoring the abandoned vessel under the AI’s guidance, you get to investigate what really happened in the past 5000 years.
Players need to flex their brains as they tackle charming 2D puzzles in a span of forty levels. Interact with operational ship systems, Mother Nature and even strange alien life forms as you make your escape from the ship.
Speaking of aliens, one such creature that will tag along on your journey is Ro the Furax. Ro the Furax proves to be a trusty companion as you brave the more complex puzzles.
Beyond pressing switches and learning alien patterns, this puzzle game is driven by its story. Uncover the fate of the crew and the cause that led to the game’s events. Players looking for an engaging narrative should definitely give this title a shot.
Professor Lupo: Ocean is downloadable through the Switch eShop, Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It costs $4.99 on the Switch. For mobile devices, the game is free for the first few levels. Beyond that, players will need to pay $2.99.
The game is also currently on sale on Steam.
