After receiving plenty of localized efforts, from Taiwan, to China, South Korea and most recently, Thailand, Princess Connect Re: Dive might actually be getting a global release in the near future, finally. The Priconne collab is also running at present in Dragalia Lost, in which Pecorine is a summonable Adventurer who is non-limited unlike previous collabs.
Right now, there’s no exact news yet, but what the game has is a verified Twitter account (!). You can check a screencap of the currently empty account below:
We could hope that the game will have an in-game English language option instead of a completely new client, but considering the rest of the localizations have their own apps, this seems unlikely. In any case, Princess Connect having a global server might no longer be just a pipe dream, so stay tuned for the usual pre-registration sign ups and news.
The Japanese edition will soon be celebrating its third anniversary, and with the year wrapping up, in Cygames fashion we should be able to expect tons of goodies. Incidentally, Kakao Games is bringing World Flipper over to the international audience in 2021 as well, so that’s more Cygames-related properties being available in English.
UPDATE:
It would seem that Crunchyroll will be handling the localization, with an expected release date of 1 March 2021. That seems pretty soon, so look forward to it!
