The West Malaysia Qualifier for the Predator League Malaysia 2025 has concluded, determining the top contenders in both Dota 2 and Valorant competitions. This event serves as a crucial stepping stone for teams aiming to secure their spot in the larger Predator League Malaysia 2025 tournament.
In the Dota 2 tournament, Ascent Esport emerged as the champion, while SOUL Gaming claimed the runner-up position, with SSE X HK securing third place. The Valorant tournament saw Zero 7 clinching the top spot. Teh Ais Ikat Tepi earned the second place, with No Chill rounding out the podium in third. The top three teams from each game have now qualified for the Predator League Malaysia 2025, where they will face off against other regional qualifiers. The stakes are high, as the champion will earn the right to represent the country in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Predator League.
In addition, the APAC Predator League 2025 Grand Finals is set to take place on January 11 to 12, 2025, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. This major esports event, organized by Acer, will feature top teams from 14 APAC regions competing in Dota 2 and VALORANT for a share of the $400,000 prize pool.
As the esports scene in Malaysia continues to grow, this event serve as an important platform for local talent to shine on both national and international stages. The upcoming tournaments promise intense competition and exciting gameplay for fans and participants alike.
