Pre-order Kingdom Hearts 3 on Amazon to get DLC Keyblade

Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 pre-orders on Amazon US and Canada will include a code for a DLC Keyblade. The offer seems to be a Western version of the 7 Eleven pre-order bonus in Japan.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the highly anticipated upcoming sequel in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. In this sequel, players once again take control of Sora in his quest while leading his fellow companions, Donald Duck and Goofy. Other memorable characters from the franchise like Riku, Kairi and Mickey Mouse return in the upcoming sequel.

The Keyblade offered for the pre-orders is the “Dawn till Dusk” Keyblade. The name of the Keyblade seems to be a humorous play at 7-Eleven’s 24 hour opening times. At the moment, no other information exists on the Keyblade. It is unknown whether the Keyblade is a skin or an independent weapon with its own unique stats.

Furthermore, the availability of the DLC outside of the pre-order bonus is currently unknown as well. However, there is a possibility that it will be obtainable post-release. Square Enix had done the same with Final Fantasy XV by having the pre-order bonus DLCs available in the store.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch for the PS4 and Xbox One on the 25th of January 2019 in Japan and Asia. On the other hand, the western release will launch on the 29th of January.
