Game developer Kurechii is seeking testers for Postknight 2, that will soon hit the alpha stage. This is set to take place in October 2020, and those looking to take part will have to fill up this Google Form.
Of course, not everyone will be making the cut, so the developers will select a limited number of entrants to test out different systems. Those who are selected and have tested will be able to share their feedback once the tests end in November 2020.
As the name suggests, the game is a direct sequel to Postknight, which first came out in 2017. Predictably enough, the game is set an unspecified number of years after the original, and you will assume the role of either male or female Postknight. A Postknight is pretty much a fancy term for postal worker in this game’s universe, but unlike the ones based in our world, you are actually armed and can engage in combat against hostile entities.
Postknight 2 will have you delivering packages while cutting down anything that stands in your way. The sequel has more locales to explore, more items to collect and a bigger cast to interact with. So from the sound of it, this is more or less more of the same, which isn’t a bad thing. It is worth noting that the developer will continue to work on the original game, at least with regards to fixing issues to maintain a stable experience throughout.
