Pop Up Parade Touhou Reimu and Marisa Figures open for Pre-Order

Pre-orders are open for pop up parade figures of Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame, the two main characters of the popular Japanese bullet hell series Touhou Project.

If you’re a fan of Touhou, these may be worth a pickup.

Reimu Hakurei

The strong yet eternally in poverty shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei now appears in Pop Up Parade form.

She is priced at ¥3,900 or 145 MYR and will be released in June of 2022. You can pre-order her on the Good Smile Company website or a local licensed retailer.

Marisa Kirisame

The mischievous witch of Gensokyo, Marisa Kirisame, is on the scene. Now in Pop Up Parade form.

Much like her best friend Raimu, she is priced at ¥3,900 or 145 MYR and will be released in June of 2022. You can pre-order her on the Good Smile Company website or a local licensed retailer.

Touhou Project has had a number of games released for the PC in Japan and while non of them have been localized in English, they have been translated.

Despite this, the series remains extremely popular in Japan, particularly among the doujinshi scene, with fans creating their own manga and even anime. This has also led to a large amount of merchandise which now includes these two Touhou pop up parade figures.

The series has also seen a number of spin-off projects brought to international audiences such as the Touhou Genso Ronda: Bullet Ballet for the PS4 and Switch and Touhou Lost World for mobile devices.
