Pokemon X Razer Collaboration Reveals Gengar Headphones (But There’s A Twist)

In collaboration with Pokemon, Razer has unveiled the Gengar-themed headphones, as part of their Pokemon x Razer PC gaming Gengar collection. The Gengar-themed collection was first revealed on an X post back in July. The headphones were only officially included in the lineup just recently. However, there’s a bit of a twist which is fans outside of China may find it difficult to actually own any of these.

As of writing this piece, it has been reported that the Gengar collection is exclusively limited for release in China. Therefore, huge fans of the Ghost-type pokemon may have to go out of their way at importing any of the items featured in this collection straight from Mainland China which you can find on sites like AliExpress.

Pokemon and Razer are no strangers when it comes to making region-exclusive product releases and promotions so this is not the first time but it doesn’t make the pill any less bitter to swallow especially for mega fans of the purple grin-faced pokemon from all over the world.

The purple headset showcases Gengar’s signature head spikes and pointy ears, along with unique Gengar designs inside the ear cups and an illuminated Gengar on the outside of each cup. This Gengar-themed Razer headset is a variation of the Razer Kraken V3 X, known for being lightweight and comfortable, with built-in Razer Chroma RGB lighting and a HyperClear Cardioid microphone.

Unfortunately, as mentioned already, it’s only being released in China, so fans outside the country will need to import it. However, one silver lining is that plenty more of other Gengar merchandise is widely available globally, offering fans the opportunity to show their love for the ghostly, purple-colored gremlin.
