The Pokémon company had announced the debut of Shiny Pokémon coming to the global mobile app Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (Pokémon TCG Pocket) and is set to launch on 27 March along with a new themed booster pack titled Shining Revelry. Additionally to this update, players can look forward to the first season of ranked matches which will bring a whole new way of battling in the app.
Shining Revelry Booster Pack
This new booster pack will allow players to discover a wide variety of Shiny Pokémon cards such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, Pachirisu and many more by opening random digital packs of choice using the wonder pick feature. A unique perk regarding Shiny Pokémon cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket is that when titled they sparkle beautifully, which allows a pleasing view of the cards in digital format. Furthermore, players are also able to obtain a Shiny Charizard themed display board and binder by April 1 so that they can be able to show off their Shiny Pokémon collection with glamour.

Apart from just Shiny Pokémon, the Shining Revelry Booster Pack will introduce familiar faces from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet including Trainers and Pokémon alike, with special illustrations for Tatsugiri, Spirigatito and Iono.
In celebration for the launch of Shining Revelry, players are able to participate in ex Starter Deck missions starting from March 27 2:00 pm MYT until April 26 12:59 pm MYT. When players complete in-game missions they will receive a deck ticket which can then be exchanged for one out of nine starter decks. Once said starter deck is chosen, its 20 cards will be included in the players collection.
Ranked Matches
A new addition launching in Pokémon TCG Pocket are the ranked matches, the first season will include the new booster pack Shining Revelry and will be available at the same time as ex Starter Deck missions, March 27 to April 26.
