During the yesterday’s Pokemon stream announcement, The Pokemon Company President and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara had announced some details regarding the upcoming SwSh DLC Expansion Pass Part 2: The Crown Tundra.
With the Expansion pass coming really soon on 22nd October it’s time to get your Pokeballs ready and travel down to the frozen lands of the Crown Tundra. During the trailer, while seeing some of your favorite partners coming back to Galar is definitely exciting, the main highlight of the trailer would be the revelation that all past legendary Pokemon are confirmed to be coming back in this part of the expansion pass!
Another main feature that was shown in the trailer which was also revealed back then would be Dynamax Adventure where you’ll be pairing up with other 3 members to go on an expedition with to clear out the Dynamax dens.
The Dynamax Adventure will feature branching paths with different Pokemon type you and your party can choose from, and if you look closely on the top left corner it shows some form of healthbar which would indicate how many attempts you and you party can try out before you guys get kicked out.
After completing the story of the Crown Tundra, players can head back to the base game and travel to Wyndon where the Championship league was once held to attend the event called Galarian Star Tournament which will allow players to team up with famous trainers from the Galar region to make a dream team and battle it out in a two-on-two format!
And to celebrate the release of the 2nd part of the expansion pack, a bundle which includes the base game as well as the expansion pass will go on sale on the 6th November so it’ll be a great time to get everything in one go if you previously hadn’t do so yet.
Not only that, players can also get different variations of Pikachus with different regional caps. The codes for these special Pikachus will be given in the next few coming days. Although, players can already redeem two of the variants (Original Cap Pikachu & Partner Cap Pikachu) by using these two codes: 1CH00SEY0U & P1KACHUGET.
Other than the expansion passes news, Isihara also announced that the option to transfer their pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home will be coming soon.
Players who transfer their Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home will be eligible to redeem a mystery gift in Pokemon Go where they’ll be getting a chance to catch Meltan.
Additionally, players will also receive a mystery gift in Pokemon Home which contains a special Melmetal which can have the ability to Gigantamax in Pokemon SwSh!
