This coming Halloween, the gamified sleep-tracking application Pokemon Sleep will be celebrating a big milestone with various in-game events.
With Halloween right around the corner, Pokemon Sleep is preparing some upcoming in-game events to celebrate the spooky season.
Halloween 2023 – Double Candy Research
The Halloween-themed event is set to come to Pokemon Sleep starting from October 30th, 2023 to November 6th, 2023.
The week-long event will start and end at 4 AM, based on the respective device’s time zone and The Pokemon Company noted that the event will be held once a year.
During the event, players will get a chance to encounter a Pikachu wearing a Halloween hat and various Ghost-type Pokemon such as Gastly and Haunter.
Additionally, players will be able to obtain twice the usual amount of candies earned from conducting sleep research during this event period, and participating in special missions will gain Handy Candies and other items.
Good Sleep Day
The other upcoming event is the Good Sleep Day event, set to be held in-game from October 28th, 2023 to October 31st, 2023.
In this event, Snorlax’s Drowsy Power will be doubled during the full moon night on October 29th, 2023.
Furthermore, players may be able to attract more Pokemon or gain rarer styles of sleep the greater this Drowsy Power grows.
Aside from events, The Pokemon Company also announced that the sleep-tracking application has tracked over 100,000 years of sleep.
Released in July 2023, the game managed to reach 10 million downloads globally in August.
And come September, the total amount of sleep tracked worldwide had exceeded 900 million hours, which is equivalent to approximately 105,000 years.
