The evolutions for the three starter Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly have been leaked online, just one week before the game launches.
Aside from the starter evolutions, several other new Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet have leaked, including the latest evolutions for Paldean, Cetitan, and Lechonk and a new grasshopper pokemon possibly inspired by Kamen Rider.
Update – 11/11/22: Every Generation 9 Pokemon has now been revealed via leakers getting their hands on early copies of the game. You can see the entire Gen 9 Pokedex here. They have also revealed every Pokemon that is returning from previous games, which can be seen here.

The exact origin for these leaks isn’t sure but they’re been circulating around websites like 4Chan and have been verified by reliable leakers like Centroleaks.
If I was to give my personal opinion on some of the leaks: I know people wanted a four-legged evolution but I think Meowscarda looks fairly good. The masked magician idea looks interesting, it reminds me of the Sega character Nights. With that being said, at least this time it isn’t the fire starter that goes super anthropomorphic. I kinda like how Fuecoco’s first evolution is just Fuecoco with a hat and Skeledirge looks cool. It’s hard to tell with Quaxly evolutions since they’re just sprites but they’re just ok. Don’t hate them but they’re not doing much for me either.
That being said my favorite design so far is Lokix. Give me the Kamen Rider pokemon!
There’s gonna be a lot of discourse about which of these is good or not but I will say, try to keep an open mind at least until you see them in-game or when the Ken Sugimori art comes out. A few leaked screenshots often don’t do the designs justice.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be launching on the Nintendo Switch on November 18th, 2022.
