The Pokemon Company has launched The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero: The Indigo Disk, the second DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The DLC takes place after the first DLC, the Teal Mask, which itself takes place after the main story for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
In The Indigo Disk, your trainer is sent on exchange to Blueberry Academy, for another adventure that involves exploring a new part of Area Zero.
Blueberry Academy itself is home to four different biomes as part of their Terrarium, with many new and returning Pokemon species for players to interact with.
It’s not just Pokemon you’ll be interacting with, though, since you’ll also be competing in the Blueberry League and completing challenges via Elite Trials before battling the Elite Four.
You’ll even be able to hang out and battle gym leaders from the main game via the Special Guests feature, with trainers like Iono and Larry coming to Blueberry Academy to visit.
As with previous DLC The Indigo Disk will also include a roster update, adding more Pokemon to Scarlet and Violet that weren’t previously attainable, such as the flagship Legendaries of Pokemon Sun & Moon as well as the legendary beasts from the second generation games.
Additionally, there will also be features like the new Synchro mode, letting you take control of your Pokemon and traverse the environment as them.
