Pokemon Mooncake to Be Sold in Taiwan

What would the Mooncake Festival be without some mooncake? Well, the Pokemon Company is giving Taiwan an extremely special gift this year with Pokemon themed mooncake.

This Festive gift box will hold authentic hotel-grade Cantonese mooncake, with 4 flavours:

• Wood Bean paste and Egg Yoke
• Milk Yoke and Macadamia Nut
• Date Paste and Walnut
• White Lotus Seed Paste and Golden Egg Yoke

The Pokemon mooncake are reportedly being made with top-quality ingredients and are vegetarian friendly.

These will be encased in a Pokemon-themed box with the pocket monsters Pikachu, Scorebunny and Morpeko on the cover. It’ll also be coming with four Pokemon-themed paper coasters for the mooncakes and a carrying bag, the former of which are environmentally friendly and practical. Perfect to share with family for the Festival.

The Mid Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival will take place on September 21st this year. It is a traditional festival primarily celebrated by Chinese communities across East and South East Asia.
