It was just last month when DeNA first announced Pokemon Masters for iOS and Android devices. Now, new details have been revealed in a video uploaded to the official Pokemon YouTube channel.
In the video, Pokemon Masters producer Yu Sasaki talked about the setting for the game. Set on the artificial island of Pasio, Pokemon trainers from around the world have arrived there to compete in the Pokemon Masters League. To qualify for this League, you will have to collect badges by winning battles.
Before that, you’ll have to form a team with other trainers in the game. Each trainer will have a single Pokemon partner and together they form a Sync Pair. The battles are 3v3 and played in real-time.
In battle, there is a Move gauge that will gradually fill, which you can use to execute attacks. Each Pokemon will also have a special skill called Sync Moves and trainers can aid in battle using support skills called Trainer Moves.
Lastly, it was also confirmed that the game will be released in Summer 2019, which is coming very soon! You can stay tuned for further news by following the official Facebook Page, or pre-register now through TapTap.
